GALLERY SOFIE VAN DE VELDE TOONT NIEUW WERK VAN IVES MAES

Gallery Sofie Van de Velde presenteert een solotentoonstelling met nieuw werk door Ives Maes (°1976, België). Werkend met voornamelijk installaties en fotografie, is Ives Maes een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar die verschillende lange termijn projecten heeft gecreëerd. In deze projecten staan steeds concepten zoals tijdelijke architectuur, nomadisme, vernieling en efemeriteit. In contrast met de schilderwerken die momenteel in het recent geopende Koninklijke Museum Van Schone Kunsten wordt getoond, zal in de nieuwe tentoonstelling fotografisch werk centraal staan. De tentoonstelling opent op 26 november 2022 bij Gallery Sofie Van de Velde in Antwerpen en loopt tot en met 8 januari 2023. ​
